This is why I love Korea!!!!

So one of the reasons I love living in Korea is that there are so many national holidays, and you get paid days off. It seems that at least once a month I am getting a day off and it has been wonderful. The weird thing is that these days off are sometimes in the middle of the week, unlike in the U.S, there are not many three day weekends. Anyway last week we got Tuesday off and I went to the lake to go wakeboarding and sunbathing. Yes I went wake boarding with my bad foot. You know I am not patient enough to lay around and let my body heal. It was so fun!!!! Tim invited me to go with Brian and his girlfriend Vicky. We were supposed to leave at 6 am so I was up at 5:15 to get ready. I leave my apartment to catch a taxi to Tim's apartment (the pick up spot) and right before I hop into the cab Tim tells me we aren't leaving till 7 am so I should stay home and take a nap. I go back to my apartment and right when I fall back asleep it is time for me to leave again. I get to Tim's apartment only to find out that we are not leaving till 8 am (So much for waking up at 5:15). Anyway the traffic wasn't bad and it was a beautiful ride. We went to a really cool dock that had a music playing and a lot of twenty something people. We drank beer and got some sun while waiting our turn. I definitely wakeboarded drunk around 12:30 and it was so fun. Tim went for his first time and did better than I did (I was so jealous). After wakeboarding we went on a banana boat and I raft called a fly fish. The fly fish was awesome because your raft flew in the air a few feet and then landed in the water and then flew up a few feet again. I can't wait to go on the fly fish again. We even met this cool guy K that spoke perfect English. I love meeting people that you are able to communicate with. We left around 5 pm and I got home about 9 or 10. I slept sooooooo good that night.
